Are you a proud owner of the Motorola Atrix 4G living Stateside? If you have answered in the affirmative, then you would be pleased to know that the smartphone will be getting the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update very, very soon, with around a 1,000 owners already receiving invites to check out a beta version of the update.
While the Atrix 4G was released on AT&T around a couple of months after Android 2.3 was available, said smartphone shipped with 2.2, and it was believed that development issues prevented the operating system from reaching phones until this summer.
Well, better late than never, we say, and keep a keen eye out for the real update which should be arriving very, very soon!
