No release date for Nokia's upcoming MeeGo phone, the Nokia N9, has been officially announced, but thanks to the listing on a retailer's website – the phone might be released on August 19th. The website (after translation) says: Incoming telephone: August 19, 2011. And at the bottom of the page it gives users a chance to pre-order the item at a special price of 99,990 KZT - which is about $686 (though converted prices usually aren't the best representation of a phone's final price).
Well, if the August 19th dates is to be believed, it looks like MeeGo fans won't have to wait too long to get their hands on the N9. The wait should be bearable for most people. Hopefully Nokia will announce more as we get closer to the N9′s launch date. Who's planning to pick up one when it is released? You can check out the pre-order website.
