Nuance Dragon Go! brings contextual voice search to iOS

Posted by Tux at 9:16 PM
Jealous of Android users being able to use voice commands on their phones for almost everything while you are limited to just voice searching on the internet with your iPhone? Well, those days are drawing to an end. The folks over at Nuance have just released a new app for iOS called Dragon Go! which brings a whole load of new speech to text functions on your iPhone.

You can perform regular voice searches on the internet online just like with Google Voice Search, but you're not limited to just searching for websites. Dragon Go! applies some context to your searches to make life easier for you. For example if you ask for directions, it will launch Google Maps with the route to where you want to go. If you search for a product name, the Amazon page will come up showing the product you want. If you ask for an artist on Pandora - it will launch Pandora with the artist you want to listen to.

Sounds like a pretty useful app for iPhone users to use especially when they've got their hands busy. Head over to the Apple App Store to download Dragon Go! for free now. Give it a shot and let us know what you think.
