US Cellular has introduced yet another new Samsung handset: the Samsung Character. Like the Samsung Messager Touch (released by the carrier back in May 2010), the Character is a touchscreen (2.8 inch QVGA) feature phone with a sliding QWERTY keyboard.
The new handset offers “three Main Menu screens”, voice recognition, Bluetooth, web browser, widget support, 1.3MP camera, and MicroSD card support.
The Samsung Character is available as of now at US Cellular, in two color versions: grey and blue. It costs $39.99 (after a $50 mail-in rebate) with a new 2-yr contract agreement.
