Samsung SPH-M930 picks up FCC nod, headed for Boost Mobile

The Samsung SPH-M930 has just received the overall nod of approval over from the good people at the FCC, which means it is safe for use in the US – and that also translates to an impending release, of course. Just what does the Samsung SPH-M930 bring to the table that other smartphones lack? Well, for starters, you have a QWERTY sliding keyboard which is perfect for those who have still to get used to the virtual keyboard, while a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 processor makes sure everything runs just fine and smoothly. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Looking over your shoulder at your colleagues who rely on Sony Ericsson Android smartphones, and realized that you'd best choose a phone with the latest software version in your next purchase, fret not – Boost Mobile's offering of the Samsung SPH-M930 will ship with Android 2.3 Gingebread right out of the box, playing nice with CDMA and EV-DO 850 and 1900 bands. No idea on pricing though. Image from Pocketnow.com.
