THE users of smart phones (smartphones) based on Android should be careful with virus attacks. Because, more than 50 applications had been infected with malware DroidDreamLight Android (DDLight).
In order for Android-based phone or gadget you are not exposed to such attacks, PT Prosperita ESET Indonesia gave the following tips.
1. Always lock your device. Use the passcode (password) to access your communications device.
2. If you would enter personal data, do the application provided only for developers. For example, just download latest Facebook application from the Facebook site.
3. Do not store confidential information in a smartphone.
4. Turn off the geo-location services.
5. Enable password protection systems.
6. Remove personal photographs that do not want to distribute.
7. Avoid installing applications from developers who are not known. If you already downloaded, put an end to online banking activities from mobile devices.
8. Pay attention to the application that you want to download and install. Consider whether the application has been downloaded hundreds of thousands of times, have a high rating, long-standing and trusted application developers the industry?
9. Avoid entering personal data when clicking a link in an email.
10. Install security applications and enable the antivirus program.
