Russian-based mobile operator MTS has unleashed their newest Android smartphone in Russia called the MTS 950. The handset sports a 2.8-inch 240 x 320 touchscreen display, a 528MHz Qualcomm MSM7225 processor, a 256MB RAM, a 512MB of flash storage, a microSD card slot, a 2.0-megapixel camera, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and runs on Android 2.2.1 Froyo OS. The MTS 950 sells for 4,990 Rubles (about $181) with the MTS's tariff plan or 5,490 Rubles (about $199) without the MTS's tariff plan. [MTS]
