Own a Sony Ericsson Xperia arc? Well, we are pleased to announce that you can now get your movie fix even when you are not in front of the TV or computer, and nay, you need not pre-load your iPod with movies beforehand. What we are looking at would be the upcoming launch of Qriocity's video service that will be made available on select Sony Ericsson Xperia handsets from August 1st onwards.
It is said that this will deliver all your favorite movies and TV shows without having to go through a steep learning curve. That's nice to hear, and you can opt to rent or purchase movies and TV shows from NBC, Universal International Television Distribution, Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and Warner Bros. Digital Distribution in addition to local studios.
All Xperia smartphones (Xperia mini and Xperia mini pro at the moment) that have already been upgraded with this software can take advantage of the video service. Needless to say, as time passes, the mobile version of the video service will be made available to the Xperia arc, Xperia neo, Xperia PLAY, Xperia pro, and Xperia acro. Anyone given it a go yet, and how do you find it?
